Report Violations in Cass County

Sex Offender Registration Information

Any individual who is subject to the Sex Offender Registration Act must report in person to the Nebraska State Patrol Troop A Headquarters, located at 4411 S 108th Street in Omaha, for initial registration. This must be done within three (3) working days of becoming subject to the Act. If a person subject to the Act has moved to Cass County from another state where they were already registered as a sex offender, they are also required to complete an initial registration with the Nebraska State Patrol.

Changes to Sex Offender Contact Information

Any changes to the address, employment, vehicle information, or phone numbers of a sex offender registrant must be reported in person to the Cass County Sheriff's Office, Court Services, located at 336 Main Street, Plattsmouth, Nebraska, 68048. This must be done within three (3) working days of the change, provided the registrant lives or works in Cass County. All changes must be completed in person. 

All periodic verifications and 30-day transient updates must be completed in person at the City-County Law Enforcement Center, located at 336 Main Street, Plattsmouth, NE 68048.

These services are available Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 4 PM.
