The Cass County Sheriff's Office is currently seeking applications for the role of Deputy Sheriff. DISPATCHER - 911 OPERATOR

Are you passionate about making a difference? As a 911 Dispatcher, you'll operate vital communication equipment, providing immediate assistance to callers in emergencies. Your primary focus will be receiving and transmitting critical messages, providing life-saving assistance to 911 callers, and managing incoming non-emergency lines. Additionally, you'll undertake various duties associated with supporting the Sheriff's Office operations.
QUALIFICATIONS: 19 years old+, High school diploma/GED, and valid Nebraska Driver's license. Requires completion of a typing test, polygraph, and medical exam to include hearing and drug screening, and background investigation. This position requires shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays. EEO/Veteran's Preference.

CORRECTIONS OFFICER
(Civilian Position)

This non-sworn position primarily ensures the safety, security, and orderly functioning of the county jail. They oversee inmate well-being and activities, conduct regular checks and inspections, enforce facility rules and regulations, document, and collaborate with colleagues to maintain a controlled environment.
