The couple of months ago the Cass County Commissioners authorized the formation of a Courthouse Security Committee to look into areas in the courthouse that may lack security or safety measures. The Committee, who is made up of elected officials, media, businesses and Cass County Residents had their second meeting on October 8th which also included a tour of the courthouse so they could see first hand what some of the security issues are.  In the end, our hopes are to submit a report to the County Commissioners of our security findings which will allow them to plan for both short term and long term solutions to the problems.
