Lincoln man arrested in Louisville for home burglary and possession of stolen vehicle

Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann advised that on Sunday August 9, 2020 at around 3:30 am, Cass County dispatch received a 911 from the 100 block of Walnut St in Louisville. The Homeowner advised that there was an intruder in the home and after the individual was confronted he ran from the residence. Deputies arrived on location, after a short period one of the Deputies was able to locate an individual who matched the description the homeowner had given. The individual was identified as Shane Borer 45 year old male of Lincoln. Borer advised deputies that he had permission to be at the residence. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle Borer was observed loading with clothing items had been reported stolen out of Columbus Nebraska. Borer was arrested and housed in Cass County Jail for attempted burglary, possession of a stolen vehicle and other various charges.
