Cass County Sheriff, William C. Brueggemann advised on July 20, 2020 deputies responded to the disturbance complaint of an uncontrollable juvenile at 10:34 a.m. to 36419 East Park Highway, Louisville, NE.

16 YOA male was involved in a verbal disturbance with parents the deputy was able to deescalate the situation and left the scene at 11:21 a.m. The deputy was enroute to the Cass County Attorney to discuss options regarding a child removal from the residence.

At 11:32 a.m. the Cass County Sheriff's Office was summoned back to the residence regarding shooting incident.

The ongoing investigation indicates a parent, Clarence S. Moxey 53 YOA of 36419 East Park Highway, Louisville, NE. shot his 16 year old son with a small caliber handgun.

The 16 year old male was transported to Bergan Mercy hospital, Omaha via Lifenet. As of 07/20/2020 at 2:23 p.m. his condition was advised to be serious but stable.

Clarence S. Moxey was arrested for felony assault with a firearm and other additional charges pending investigation. Clarence Moxey is in the custody of the Cass County Corrections facility.
