Cass County Sheriff Wm. C Brueggemann advises that on Tuesday July 14th 2020 at 1259 hours, Cass County Sheriff's Deputies and Plattsmouth Fire and Rescue responded to a vehicle on fire in the area of Webster Blvd and Oreapolis Rd.

Upon arrival it was discovered that the driver of the vehicle, identified as Justin Glenn, 29 of Council Bluffs IA, was pulling a horse trailer driving south on Webster Blvd when he pulled over after noticing smoke coming from under the hood of the vehicle. Justin was able to get out of the vehicle before it totally caught fire. Plattsmouth Fire was able to put the fire out. The vehicle was towed by Arrow Towing out of Omaha.  Alcohol is not believed to be a factor. The investigation is complete
