Cass County Sheriff Robert Sorenson advised that on Wednesday, August 30th, 2023 at approximately 9:11 PM, Deputies, Plattsmouth Rescue, Plattsmouth Fire, and Murray Rescue responded to Horning Road and Sullivan Drive for a one vehicle rollover crash. The investigation found that the driver Jason Adams (18) of Plattsmouth was driving a Green Acura TL west on Horning Road. Adams was driving in reckless manner and lost control of the vehicle leaving the roadway and into a ditch to the north sideways. The vehicle then crashed into a recently reengineered culvert for Sullivan Drive causing the vehicle to flip onto its roof. Adams, along with Joeray Martinez (18) of Plattsmouth were transported by Plattsmouth Rescue to University of Nebraska Medical Center with minor injuries. Julia Seyler (20) and  a 14 year old female both of Plattsmouth were transported by Murray Rescue on a precautionary basis. Seatbelts were in use and airbags deployed. Charges are pending.
