Cass County Sheriff Robert Sorenson advised that on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 06:45 a.m. Cass County Deputies along with Murray Fire & Rescue and Cass County EMA responded to the area of Hwy 75 North of Young Road for a one vehicle rollover accident.

It was determined that a Chevrolet Silverado driven by Corey Santee (64) of Plattsmouth, NE was northbound on Hwy 75. The Silverado left the roadway on the right side and when Santee attempted to re-enter the roadway Santee lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle crossed the centerline and exited the road into the construction zone. The vehicle became airborne and rolled before coming to a stop on its side.

Santee had to be extricated and flown by Medical Helicopter to UNMC in Omaha. Santee was wearing his seatbelt. It was determined that Speed and Alcohol were not a factor. The Accident Investigation is complete.
