Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann advised that on Sunday August 28th, 2022 at approximately 1930 hrs. Cass County Deputies along with Plattsmouth Fire and EMS, and Murray Rescue responded to a One Vehicle Crash on 42nd street ½ mile south of highway 66 just outside the Copper Dollar cove area involving a UTV roller over.  The investigation found that the driver, Petra Luteran (DOB06/15/1997) of Omaha and her passengers Brock Milius (DOB 7/22/1999) of Omaha and Connor Voigtman (DOB 12/20/1998) of Plattsmouth was traveling North on 42nd street. Luteran turned onto a gravel driveway from 42nd street and loss control and ultimately the UTV they were riding in rolled onto the driver side ejecting all three passengers. Luteran was transported to University of Nebraska Medical center in an expedited fashion for suspected serious injuries. Luteran's passengers Milius and Voigtman were checked by Plattsmouth Rescue along with Murray rescue but did not require transport. Alcohol was investigated as a factor but was determined to not be a factor. The use of an UTV on the roadway and Speed are believed to be factors. Seatbelts were not believed to have been in use.
