Sheriff William C. Brueggemann advised that on Friday 8-19-22 at 12:06 a.m. a deputy observed a blue Cadillac that failed to come to a complete stop for a red light at the intersection of Hwy 75 and 8th Avenue in Plattsmouth. The deputy conducted a traffic stop of at 8th Avenue and Old Hwy 34 and found that the driver, 38 year old Amanda Dupont of Plattsmouth, had a revoked license and an active warrant out of Sarpy County. The passenger, 26 year old Kristian Will of Plattsmouth, gave a false name to officers on scene and it was later discovered that he too had an active warrant for a parole violation. Both parties were placed under arrest for their warrants and booked into Cass County Jail on their warrants.
