Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann advised that on Sunday July 3rdh, 2022 at approximately 0150hrs. Cass County Deputies along with Plattsmouth Fire and EMS, and Omaha Public Power District responded to a One Vehicle crash at the intersection of 30^th street and Fairway Drive in the Buccaneer Bay area. The investigation found that the driver, Brock R Moscato (20) of Omaha was traveling North on 30^th street. Moscato the sole occupant failed to negotiate the curve and collided with a power pole which snapped in half, causing Bucaneer bay to lose power The vehicle came to rest in entangled with active power lines just north of Fairway Drive. Moscato walked away from the scene with only minor injuries. Driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to Cass County Corrections.
