Motorcycle Vs deer accident Hwy 34
Cass County Sheriff, Wm. C. Brueggemann, advised that on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 2214 hours, Cass County Sheriff's Deputies, Eagle Fire and Rescue, and Cass County EMA, were dispatched to a single vehicle, motorcycle versus deer, accident, on HWY 34, just west of 238th Street.
The accident investigation determined that a 2003 Yamaha XZV13TF motorcycle, driven by Ronald Heim, 63, of Union, Nebraska, was traveling East on HWY 34 at 238th Street, when a deer ran out in front of him causing him to collide with the deer. Heim was treated at the scene and transported to the hospital. No citations were issues. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
