Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann advised that on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Cass County Deputies along with Ashland Rescue Squad responded to a one vehicle and one bicycle accident in the area of Highway 63 and Clubhouse Drive.

A 16 year old male out of Ashland was riding his bike southbound on Highway 63 when an unidentified red Lincoln sedan failed to yield to the right of way and side swiped the bike causing the individual to crash onto the shoulder of the road. Vehicle was not able to be located. Bicyclist signed off medical treatment and was driven home by Ashland Rescue.
