Cass County Sheriff, Wm. C. Brueggemann advised that on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at approximately 8:00 a.m., Cass County Sheriff Deputies along with Plattsmouth and Murray Fire and Rescue responded to a three vehicle accident on Highway 75 just south of Church Road. 

A tan Jeep Wrangler driven by Payton Haugaard (18 yoa) of Plattsmouth was traveling north on Hwy 75 when she struck a black Lexus IS200 driven by Eric Fourote (40 yoa) of Omaha pushing his vehicle into the third vehicle, a black Jeep Compass driven by James Gunderson (33 yoa) of Scottsdale Arizona.  The two vehicles struck were stopped for another vehicle turning off of the highway.  There were no apparent injuries but Payton was transported by Plattsmouth Rescue to Bellevue for observation.

 Seat belts were in use and speed does not appear to be a factor.
