Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann advised that on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at approximately 07:23 hrs. Cass County Deputies along with Weeping Water Fire and Rescue responded to a two vehicle accident in the area of Highway 50 and Highway 34.

Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann advised that on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at approximately 07:23 hrs. Cass County Deputies along with Weeping Water Fire and Rescue responded to a Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann advised that on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at approximately 07:23 hrs. Cass County Deputies along with Weeping Water Fire and Rescue responded to a two vehicle accident in the area of Highway 50 and Highway 34. A black 2014 Honda CR-V  TX KHZ6550 driven by Deanna Wehrli (DOB 3/15/90) out of Lincoln, was heading southbound on Highway 50 and attempted to stop to turn right to head westbound on Highway 34. The intersection was icy and Wehrli's vehicle slid through the intersection. A white 2022 Ford Explorer Ne 20T837 driven by Rachel Meeske (DOB 11/4/86) out of Weeping Water, was heading westbound on Highway 34. Meeske was not able to stop as Wehrli slid through intersection. Meeske's vehicle front end collided on the front left quarter panel area of Wehrli's vehicle. Air bags were deployed in both vehicles and both parties were wearing their seatbelts.  No one was transported to the hospital. Investigation is complete.
