Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann advises on Monday January 24th 2022 at 12:10P.M. Cass County Sheriff's Deputies, Nebraska State Patrol, Greenwood Fire and Rescue and Cass County Emergency Management responded to a single vehicle rollover accident in the area of Interstate 80 and Mile Marker 416.6.

The investigation revealed a red 2011 Lexus SUV driven by Nya Dak, 21 of Lincoln was traveling eastbound on Interstate 80. The vehicle left the roadway to the south and struck a culvert. The vehicle became airborne and came in contact with a fence. The vehicle came to rest up the hill near the 202nd Street bridge. Dak was transported by Greenwood Rescue to Bryan West in Lincoln, Ne for evaluation of her injuries. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor. Seatbelts were in use. The investigation is complete.
