Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann advised that on Monday, January 20, 2022 at approximately 2320hrs. Cass County Deputies along with Plattsmouth Fire and EMS responded to a One Vehicle accident on Highway 75 approximately a quarter mile south of the Platte River Bridge.

The investigation found that the driver Pierce Bonacci-Johnson (21) of Omaha was traveling North on Highway 75 and when his vehicle pulled left, He over corrected and drove off the roadway up an embankment, into a fence, and onto Merritt's Beach RV Park property. The vehicle came to rest in a group of small trees, air bags did not deploy. Driver was transported by Plattsmouth EMS with Possible Minor Injuries. Alcohol or Drugs do not believe to be factors.
