Cass County Sheriff, Wm. C. Brueggemann advised that on Monday, November 22, 2021 at approximately 1:26 p.m., Cass County Sheriff Deputies along with Plattsmouth Fire/Rescue responded to an accident involving a single vehicle accident, west of 6th street on Highway 66.

A red Chevy Impala driven by a 16 year old male juvenile of Louisville, Ne was traveling west on Highway 66 when juvenile lost control and entered the north side ditch striking several trees and a road sign causing both airbags to deploy.  There were no apparent injuries and after being checked over by EMS, juvenile released to family members.  Seat belts were in use and speed and alcohol were not a factor.
