Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann advised that on Friday October 15th at approximately 0300 Hours Cass County Deputies along with Plattsmouth Fire and Rescue and Plattsmouth Police Department, responded to a two vehicle accident on Highway 75 and 1st Ave.

Jamone Franklin (DOB 07/04/1991) of Omaha was driving South bound on Highway 75 approaching the flaggers. Franklin stated he did not see the flagger at first and attempted to stop before the intersection but was unable to and collided with a Power Broom street brush that was working on Highway 75. All parties signed off with Rescue.
