two vehicle personal injury accident at the intersection of 358th Street and Highway 34.

Cass County Sheriff Wm. C Brueggemann advises that on Thursday September 29th 2012 at approximately 11:45AM Cass County Sheriff's Office Deputies, Cass County Emergency Management, Weeping Water Fire, Elmwood Fire and Rescue and Louisville Rescue were paged to a two vehicle personal injury accident at the intersection of 358th Street and Highway 34.

Ronald Tietgen, 66 and Daniel Houchin, 58 both of Weeping Water were traveling westbound on Highway 34 in a silver 2005 Dodge Durango when a silver 2020 Honda Pilot driven by Brett Stubbs, 71 of Weeping Water attempted to turn northbound onto 358th Street from Highway 34. The Durango left the roadway, rolled 3 times and came to rest in the north ditch. Houchin was transported to CHI Saint Elizabeth by Elmwood Rescue. All other parties were treated and released on scene.  Stubbs was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way. Seatbelts were in use and alcohol is not believed to be a factor. The investigation is complete.
