Cass County Sheriff, Wm. C. Brueggemann advised that on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at approximately 11:10 a.m., Cass County Sheriff Deputies along with Plattsmouth Fire/Rescue responded to a boating incident and injury accident near Fir Circle, Coppar Dollar Cove.

A ski boat driven by Mike Tabler (78 yoa) of Plattsmouth was pulling skier Tom Dunn (79 yoa) of Plattsmouth was utilizing the slalom buoy course and was injured while hitting the water during a wake crossing.  Mr. Tabler was able to retrieve Mr. Dunn from the water and bring him to shore.  Mr. Dunn was taken to Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha for non-life threatening injuries.
