Cass County Sheriff, William C. Brueggemann advised on September 4, 2021 at 9:56 a.m. deputies responded to the report of a Missing Person, John Zarkowski 72 YOA of Ridgeway Rd. Buccaneer Bay, Plattsmouth.

A family member advised that Zarkowski was last seen on 09/03/21 at 4:30 p.m. at the Buc Bay residents.

It is believed Zarkowski departed his residence in the early morning hours of 09/04/21 driving a 2018 White Chevrolet Tahoe, Nebraska license plate 20T188. Clothing description of Zarkowski is unknown, it is believed Zarkowski is shoe less and without his phone and wallet.

A search of the area was conducted and a statewide broadcast was issued.

On September 5, 2021 volunteers, Nebraska Game and Parks Warden, Plattsmouth Fire and Cass County EMA were organized and the search area was broadened.    

Missing Endangered Person:

John Zarkowski is a 72 years of age, white male 6'2,  230 lbs, gray hair, blue eyes.

Vehicle involved: 2018 White Chevrolet Tahoe, Nebraska license plate 20T188.
