Vehicle Fire, Stolen Vehicle from Rock Port Mo., two in custody

Cass County Sheriff William C. Brueggemann advised on April 2nd, 2020 at about 5:54 p.m., Plattsmouth Fire and Rescue, Cass County Sheriff Office Deputies, and Plattsmouth Police Department responded to a vehicle which was reported to be on fire, in a field by Oreapolis Road and Webster Blvd.

Upon investigation, Deputy's discovered the vehicle, a 2015 Ford F150 stuck and on fire.  In the investigation, it was found the vehicle was reported stolen from Rock Port MO.

A Cass County Deputy located one female attempting to get a ride on Webster Blvd, in the area of Schmidt Trucking. Witnesses advised the female had reported to them her brother's truck was on fire, and she left the scene. A passing motorist was observed stopping for the female, and the vehicle was stopped. The female was identified as a Brooke Vilcinskas age 21 of Gretna, Ne..

Cass County Deputies located a male party walking in the area, who was identified as a Jordan Utech age 24 of Bellevue, Ne.. From the investigation, it was found both Brooke Vilcinskas and Jordan Utech to be involved with the stolen vehicle. Both Vilcinskas and Utech were charged with Possession of Stolen Property and are in custody in Cass County Corrections.
