Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann advised that on Tuesday August 24, 2021 at approximately 07:30 a.m. Cass County Deputies along with Murray Fire and Rescue, responded to a five vehicle accident on West Main Street, Murray. The accident consisted of a chain reaction after one vehicle rear ended another. Cass County Emergency Management, and Murray Fire and Rescue responded. Individuals involved were: John Rodis III (15 YOA) of Rural Plattsmouth driving a Red Honda Accord, Chloe Cavanzon (17 YOA) of Rural Union driving a red Toyota Corolla, Jacob Cooke (16 YOA) of Rural Plattsmouth driving a Black Ford Ranger, Kylie Cooke (16 YOA) of Rural Plattsmouth Driving a Silver Honda Accord, and Karissa Nickels (16 YOA) of Rural Murray driving a White Chevy Malibu. No serious injuries were reported.
