On Friday, July 16, 2021, Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann advised the Cass County Sheriff Office, after a two week intensive investigation, arrested two men at a residence in Eagle, Nebraska.

Arrested were Chase Bass, age 26 and Jay Guy, age 24 both of Lincoln, Nebraska. Bass had two outstanding Lancaster County warrants, one charge being a weapons charge and the other for possession of controlled substance. Guy was arrested on an outstanding theft warrant from Lancaster County.

A search warrant for the residence was obtained after contraband located, during the incident to the arrest. Additional local charges are expected.
