Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann advised that deputies responded to a one vehicle personal injury accident on Friday Jun, 18, 2021 9:51 p.m. involving a John Deere tractor pulling a fuel trailer on 202 St and A St in Avoca. The driver of the tractor was Otis Bond 96, of Avoca, Ne. Bond missed the road while attempting to turn and was unable to control the tractor. The tractor ended up in a ditch where Bond sustained a head injury. Due to his injuries, Bond was life flighted to UNMC.
