On Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 4:08 p.m. Cass County Sheriff, Wm C. Brueggemann advised deputies responded to a two vehicle property damage accident at the intersection of Hwy and Hwy 66. Plattsmouth Fire and rescue also responded to the accident.

A white Chevrolet SUV driven by Katelin Regina Gharst 32 YOA of Blue Springs Missouri was traveling north on highway 75 when she slowed for the traffic light at the intersection and was hit from behind by the 2014 maroon Ford Explorer driven by Brenda K. Ensor 56 YOA of Auburn Ne.

Vehicles were towed due to damages. Both drivers were both released medically by Plattsmouth rescue.  The investigation is ongoing.
