Two semi accident Hwy 50

Cass County Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann advises on Thursday April 27th at 1105AM Cass County Sheriff's Office Deputies, Cass County Emergency Management, Weeping Water Fire and Rescue, Louisville Fire and Murdock Fire were dispatched to a two semi accident at the entrance of Hill Top Fill Stop, Weeping Water.


Driver fatigue is believed to be a factor. Dusatko was not wearing his seatbelt and was treated and released on scene by Cass County EMA. Faulder was transported by Weeping Water Rescue to CHI St. Elizabeth hospital for treatment for his injuries. The investigation is complete.While on route all units were advised that one semi was fully engulfed in flames. The scene investigation revealed that a northbound semi driven by Brandon Faulder, 32 of Lincoln struck a second semi that had slowed down to turn that was driven by Jeremy Dusatko, 40 of David City. Both semis came to rest in the entrance to the Hill Top Fill Stop.
