Sheriff William Brueggemann advised at 8:49 p.m. on Monday August 30, 2021, the Cass County Sheriffs office was notified of a one vehicle accident near Highway 75, north of Club view road, Plattsmouth, Ne. Units from the Cass County Sheriffs Department with Plattsmouth Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch. Upon arrival Deputies located a Gray 2010 Dodge Charger on the east side of  Highway 75. The driver identified as Gayle Wright (42) of Omaha, Ne.  who was traveling northbound on Highway 75, and appeared to have lost control of the vehicle. Witness confirmed the vehicle appeared to be traveling at a high rate of speed as it rounded the curve.  The male party was transported to UNMC medical center for evaluation.
